Recording a payment
Chukta records what people owe. It does not move money, hold money, or charge a fee for any of it.
So the order is always: pay your friend the way you already pay them — cash, bank transfer, JazzCash, Easypaisa, PayPal, Venmo — and then record it.
Recording
Open Settle up in the group, pick the card, and choose Record payment. You can record the full amount or a partial one; a partial payment leaves the rest outstanding and the plan updates.
Pick the method, the date and an optional note, and save. Everyone in the group sees the new balance, and you get a receipt you can share.
Recording for someone without the app
A no-app member cannot confirm anything, so anyone in the group can record their payments for them. The card reads "Record for them" instead of offering a reminder.
