What’s a “no app” member?
A no-app member is a name, and optionally a phone number, that the group tracks. They take a share of every expense they were part of and carry a real balance, exactly like anyone else.
You will always know who they are: a dashed avatar ring and a NO APP tag, everywhere they appear.
Anyone can record their payments
Because they cannot open the app to confirm anything, anyone in the group can record a payment for them. When they hand over cash, whoever took it records it.
They can claim it later
If they join with the same phone number the group tracked them by, they claim that membership and its whole history — every expense, share and payment — and control it from then on. Nothing has to be re-entered.
